PTSD and C-PTSD treatment in New York City
Trauma-focused therapy for PTSD and C-PTSD, in person on the Upper West Side and online across New York and New Jersey.

PTSD and C-PTSD are how the mind and body keep reacting to something frightening or painful that's already over. The fear, the flashbacks, the staying-on-guard, the feeling cut off from people, it can be treated.
How we treat
How we treat PTSD / C-PTSD
We work with PTSD and C-PTSD using EMDR and trauma-focused therapy. EMDR helps your brain reprocess a difficult memory so it stops hijacking the present, and trauma-focused therapy gives you steady ground to face what happened at a pace you can handle. Together they're aimed at the memories and reactions driving the symptoms, not just the symptoms on the surface.
