Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Everyone can benefit from therapy, regardless of their specific mental health needs and challenges. Many people seek therapy for depression, anxiety, and relationship problems. However, there are a multitude of issues that therapy can help with. Our therapists will have conversations with you about the challenges you are facing. Your therapist will help you figure out how to self-reflect, turn inward, and think about what is important to you so you can optimize certain parts of your life. We’re here to guide you along your healing journey.

We treat a variety of diagnoses and issues that bring people to therapy. The top three reasons people come to us are depression, anxiety, and relationship problems. At Behr Psychology we meet the needs of people who are struggling with all sorts of challenges by listening carefully to their unique circumstances, histories, and goals. We form a treatment curated to each individual’s specific needs.

We offer individual and couples therapy for people seeking help for depression, anxiety, and relationship problems, and many other needs. Our clinicians are skilled in psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), and Mindfulness-based practices. Most importantly all of our therapists are relatable and easy to talk to. Our therapist will make connections for you and help you better understand yourself and find relief from your distress. We also offer psychological testing, which is not therapy but could be for you if you’re looking for diagnostic answers, testing accommodations, and next steps.
