Accessibility Statement

Our goal

Behr Psychology wants everyone who visits this website to be able to read it, move around it, and reach us. Our goal is for the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we have checked

We check the site with automated accessibility tests, using the axe testing engine. We also check with the keyboard alone: we move through each page with the Tab key to confirm that every link, button and form field can be reached and that the focus is visible. We run both kinds of check on builds of the site, at desktop and at mobile widths.

Known limitations

Some text on this website is set in pairs of colors taken as they are from our brand palette and approved design, and some of those pairs do not reach the 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio that WCAG 2.1 Level AA asks for. One example is our caramel accent color on a cream background.

We have kept these colors as designed. Because of this, we do not claim that every page of this website meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This limitation concerns the color contrast of text only.
