I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New York, with a degree from Columbia University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations in a variety of settings, allowing me to gain valuable experience and training.
This experience includes providing social, academic and emotional support for students, adults, and elderly individuals through psychosocial challenges. I also have experience in supporting individuals through challenging life circumstances, such as anticipatory grief, chronic/terminal illness, death and dying and bereavement. I have worked extensively in the community health center setting as well, providing direct mental health counseling to individuals of all ages, backgrounds and diagnoses.
In addition to traditional psychodynamic therapy, I draw from various modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT,CBT, Internal Family Systems, Emotional Freedom Technique, Exposure and Response Prevention and Motivational
Interviewing. I studied Positive Psychology in Denmark, one of the happiest nations in the world, and I enjoy integrating principles of Positive Psychology into therapy to help individuals unlock their true potential and live more meaningful lives.
