Meet Our Therapists

Jennifer Gutmann, LCSW

Licensed Therapist

I am deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards healing, growth, and empowerment. With a holistic and client-centered approach, I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

My work is rooted in the belief that each person has the inherent strength and resilience to overcome life’s challenges. I collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. Whether you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or navigating life transitions, I am here to provide compassionate support and evidence-based interventions.

Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, trauma-informed care, and narrative therapy, I tailor my interventions to meet the specific needs of each individual. I believe in empowering clients to cultivate self-awareness, build coping skills, and develop healthy coping mechanisms to navigate life’s ups and downs more effectively.

My approach is strength-based, collaborative, and culturally sensitive, honoring the diverse backgrounds and identities of each client. I am dedicated to walking alongside you on your journey towards healing, growth, and self-discovery. Together, we can work towards creating positive change and fostering a greater sense of well-being in your life.

"True healing is not only the alleviation of symptoms, but the transformation of the self."

Training and Education

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University, where I received comprehensive training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and gained valuable hands-on experience in various clinical settings. My educational journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in psychological theory, trauma-informed care, and ethical practice standards.

I am deeply passionate about continuing education and staying abreast of the latest developments in the field of mental health. My professional interests include exploring the intersection of social justice and mental health, and integrating innovative modalities into my practice to better serve my clients’ diverse needs. I am dedicated to ongoing growth and learning, continuously seeking opportunities to expand my skill set and deepen my understanding of the complexities of the human experience.
